Bend Summerfest is this weekend! That means tons of live music, local vendors and crafts, a kids area, and good local beers flowing. Saturday 7/11 from 11AM to 11PM and Sunday 7/12 from 11AM to 6PM. Visit this site for more info and performance schedule. |
This weekend is 4th of July, obviously. The annual Pet Parade will be downtown at 9 AM. Immediatly following the parade is a large outdoor vendor market, live music, food, and family fun at nearby Drake Park. Head on home afterwards for a BBQ, then once the sun starts dropping find a good spot where you can see Pilot Butte's summit. You'll be treated by the annual firework display. |

Bite of Bend is this weekend! Downtown will be closed off for the festival, which features dozens of restaurants offering samples, a vendor expo, an Iron Chef and Bartender Brawl Competitions.

Balloons over Bend festival is Saturday June 6th and Sunday the 7th. Looks like most of the festivities are going down at the Old Mill and Les Schwab Ampitheater this year. The balloons will lift off around 6:30AM and they also do a late night balloon lighting (balloons stay on the ground, but fire up, so it's bright and glowy). Large vendor marketplace, food, and kids activities going on as well.
