This year marks the 21st Anniversary of Bend’s Earth Day Celebration. This event plays a vital role in strengthening the bond in our community. The Earth Day Street Fair and Procession of the Species Parade engage all people in a celebration of that which we hold dear, our natural environment.

The Central Oregon Earth Day Celebration is one of Central Oregon’s longest running events. Our longevity is a reflection of the community’s passion for this event. In order to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Bend’s Earth Day Celebration and cater towards our communities ever growing passion for the environment, this year’s event will be bigger than ever before.

The Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 24, from 11am to 4pm. It promises to be another exciting community event with interactive displays, art, live music, performances, and great hands-on activities for all ages. The 11th annual Procession of the Species, a colorful, creative parade filled with children and adults costumed as their favorite species will kick off the day.
